I Attempted both upgrading from windows 98 to SP4 pro and installing on a blank HDD to SP4 pro and when i get to CD key section, every cd key i find is NOT working.
@spot57 I found the ISO here: https://archive.org/details/Win2000ProSP4PL but i can't confirm if it's the correct version or not, since i don't speak polish and just made a quick search, hope this works for you I know it's not the same than downloading it from here, but it will do the work while the ISO isn't here, maybe in a few days i'll check it

The SP4 retail version gets stuck on vmware. It gets stuck on such text: "please wait while setup detects and installs devices such as...", and the progress bar is almost full + I waited for a long time

@SomeGuy Windows Explorer can't open this file, and using 7-Zip to extract it will also prompt errors with some of the files. This results in some device driver errors in the finally installed Windows 2000, such as the battery driver. The issue was resolved by replacing the DRIVER.CAB in this ISO file with another one.
Ok, I see the issue now. Indeed the driver.cab in the server versions should be identical. So I did a binary copy and paste, repairing the ISO image - the ISO CRC now checks out, so that should be the only issue. It should be good to go now, so I uploaded the corrected ISO. If there are any other issues, please report them.

I'm not sure about this copy. It looks ok, but installer skips product key.
This copy looks more original, but it has integrated updates: https://windowsbase.pl/download?file=https://archive.org/download/5.00.2195.6717-x-86fre-client-professional-retail-en-us-upgrade/Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional (SP4) [Aktualizacje 2010] [Polski].zip

.\I386\DRIVER.CAB is broken. There are numerous files with a size of 0 in DRIVER.CAB
Extracted "win2000_chs_retail.pro.iso" and "winworldpc.com.txt" without issue.
opened the ISO with UltraIso - no errors, no zero byte files.
As the screen cap shows, DRIVER.CAB has a size of 50,853 kb.
Testing/Extracting the CAB file with both 7zip and Winrar reports numerous errors - see attached text file.
If the issue cannot be resolved, suggest using DRIVER.CAB from say, the server variant.
