  • A ViewSonic A75s on my machine

  • Am I the only person with a tft monitor?
  • I certainly don't have one, since all I have are CRTs!

  • My main system is an IC Power 19" LCD, running at 1280x1024 resolution, 32-bit color, and a 60hz refresh rate. When I bought it, I think this monitor has an 8ms refresh time, so it actually owns for gaming even though it's an LCD. smile.gif

  • Aren't tfts and lcds better than crts for gaming?

    Not necessarily, LCDs are better known for ghosting when you make sharp turns in games, since they tend to have higher response times than CRT's.

  • I had a problem with a tft screen recently at college where the power lead was jammed at both ends and the screen was stuck on auto-focus.
  • LCDs have improved greatly over the years, newer ones don't have those issues.

    And college LCDs == suckage

    Are yours those retarded AG Neovo things?
  • Sceptre X7. I just needed an LCD monitor and found this one pretty cheap. I was surprised at the price (only $158) given that it's actually a very good screen.
  • I'll have to remember your recommendation.

    And yes, almost universally, educationally administrated machines are horrible one way or another.

    Really? You must have a nice one. We have many 15" Dell LCDs, and a few 17" Dell LCDs at school... The 15 inch ones suck... the 17" ones are OK, but I still like my cheapy Walmart LCD's image quality better. Meh, I don't have a very high opinion of Dell LCDs. squiggly.gif
